The green tea fat burner has been known for a long time in the west. Now new studies are being done by some of the brightest scientific minds in both the eastern and western hemispheres. Other studies have been done to show that the effects of the green tea fat burner in increasing metabolism are not just from caffeine. While caffeine was shown to certainly play a role in the process, the benefits of green tea actually go beyond those that can be explained simply by the amounts of caffeine found. What was done in this study was to administer the exact same amount of caffeine that would be found in a cup of green tea, only this time by itself. It's not a carb and fat blocker - when administered by itself it did not have the increased metabolism effect which it has when combined with the other ingredients of green tea. Thus it is concluded that other ingredients of green tea play a role in making this green tea fat burner, not just the caffeine. This is big news for weight loss. Green tea is shown to have an increase of roughly 4% in metabolism, all of which is attributed to the extract of green tea. It is important to take into consideration though that thermogenesis (the creation of body heat which normally burns calories) is only about 8-10% of our body's daily metabolic rate, meaning that green tea extract actually has a thermogenetic increase of about 35-43%. This increase lasts for a period of 24 hours.
